Yes, very dog friendly place. They will allow your dogs in the patio. They are members of the dog friendly alliance.
You will be sorely missed, Bolsa. One of my top restaurants of all time, no doubt. Thanks for all the great times, celebrations, yummy food, and great hospitality! And to the bartender that just a few weeks ago, made me the most magical drink I've ever tasted: PLEASE LET ME KNOW WHERE YOU WILL BE WORKING because I am still dreaming of the tasty goodness.
Don’t judge the place when you walk in. Give it a try. Had the casserole and it was delicious. Pretty friendly service. People with me had the burger and enjoy it also. Recommended!
I've been here multiple times for brunch and would give it 5 stars every time. The biscuits and gravy are amazing as well as the chorizo chilaquiles. I also loved the bagel and the iron skillet quiche!
I really enjoy driving in to Dallas when I get to go to wonderful places like Bolsa. This restaurant is beautiful. There's a patio and indoor restaurant. The food and cocktails are magnificent. Dallas has a lot great restaurants and this is definitely one of them. The atmosphere is relaxed and the wait staff is to notch. It's definitely worth your time.
Chopped salad was delicious. Tablemates weren't as impressed with their goat tacos and steak sandwich. Presentation was good, worth a try. I loved the slaw.
Great food. Great service.I'll definitely be back.
The Goat Tacos took me to a place in my mind I wasn't expecting to go to. The goat and the slaw were made by a god most likely. My only complaint were that the tortillas were bland to me, had a very straight out the bag taste that got dipped in an edible bleach.
Great atmosphere, superior customer service from the host to the waitress and my pork chop was the best prepared pork chop I have ever had! Great wines selection as well. Thank you for the experience Bolsa!
What's good: food, service, place, neighbourhood. What's VERY bad: there were flies everywhere. Not pleasant at all, and nobody did anything at all about it.
Shrimp and Eggs, amazing.
The best meal I have ever had in my trip. I had the steak sandwich. And it is awesome. All my friends’ orders are spectacular. Highly recommended.
Great place for brunch... warm atmosphere with really good Mexican fusion dishes... you won't be sorry
I’ve been here twice, once for drinks and once for brunch and both times I was very pleased with the quality of service and food/drinks. The happy hour drinks are a very good option as they are strong and priced well. The brunch was AMAZING! Me and my friends each ordered something different and we each enjoyed our meal. Parking was not too bad to find and the restaurant is located within walking distance of a ton of other shops and things.
My go-to for happy hour or dinner dates. Food and drinks are amazing! The staff is always friendly and efficient.
The atmosphere is young and cozy. There's a wide selection of food for every palette. The cheese plate is enjoyable for the eyes and tongue. I've not eaten anything from here I did not like.
The food at this place is amazing! From the appetizers to the drinks, the food and service is 5 star!
Great farm to table restaurant. If you go for brunch you should be the brunch deluxe plate. The pork belly is amazing and perfectly cooked and the french toast cakes are so flavorful without being too heavy.
Delicious food and incredible service. I came here with a group of 8 for brunch on a Saturday. They held our reservation and made sure we were greeted and treated well. The menu has delicious food... You can't go wrong with anything you choose! The $4 mimosas are worth so much more--be careful of you're driving home. The "Bloddys" (Maria, Mary, and other variations) are also delicious and perfectly balanced. I highly recommend coming here for food, service, and value.
Amazing! Simple, cool, delicious - Chris took great care of us - will be back!
I thoroughly enjoyed my experience. They had vegetarian options that were amazing. All the food was great and I would definitely return if I lived here
Very nice place. I didn't know you needed a reservation for Sunday brunch and they made room for us. Great service with good food and drinks! I'll be going back.
By significant other loves this placeDue to the original, very good cocktails. I generally think the food is a little bit weird and overpriced. Trendy but comfortable environment. The servers are always pleasant and attentive.
So very very good. The mussels are always a win. New steak tar tar which was --sorry to say- better than an impossible burger. Don't hate;). Flat bread with meat and grapes! was put in a doggie bag and eaten next few days. So good. couldn't eat dessert but I would expect it to be delish.
Been here multiple times and I just can't get bored of the food
Great happy hour prices on drinks. The apps (bruschetta) was the star of the visit. It’s a remodeled garage with some left over grease monkey evidence? That part was a little odd, but we’d go back for happy hour and an app or two.
Great atmosphere and waitstaff. The food was great with amazing flavors. My flat bread was a little soggy..not crisp but they took care of by it for me and I will definitely be back!!
A very nice cocktail bar in the British Arts district of Oak Cliff. The cocktails were amazing, along with the beef tartar and Texas cheese board.During happy hour, cocktail are 1/2 price. Happy hour ends at 7pm.I was told they do Saturday and Sunday Brunch, yet I haven't been yet, though I will. All in all, this is a great cocktail bar.
The hummus was delicious with the bread served with it. We shared a burger which was also delicious and had a big patty. Will definitely come back. Cute place!
An Oak Cliff OG institution. Best neighborhood happy hour bar and laid-back brunch, fine dining, and patio space. Bolsa was a key fixture in the OC resurgence of the mid-late 2000s, and remains one of the best places to get a drink and bump into locals you know and love.
This is a great brunch place. The food is fresh and the service is great. This place isn't that big so make sure to either get a reservation, or make sure to get there early. Parking isn't the greatest. Sometimes depending on the time of day you go, you might have to park in the neighborhood off a side street. Be careful when parking in the neighborhood because they do have signs that say residential parking only.
I’ve come here a handful of times over the past few few years and this place has always been able to exceed my expectations. Like many other farm to table establishments, the ingredients they use are fresh and sourced from local places. The decor and layout of this place makes it versatile as a great date place, but also a good place to bring together a group of people just to catch up. As far as the food goes I’ve never tried something I didn’t like. They cook their meats in unique ways and the people there are very knowledgeable of their menu. If you have any questions they’ll be able to help you decide what on their menu best matches your palate.
One of my fav places in Dallas. Good food! Try it once and you will be visiting over and over! $$ The Steak Hash with the sunnyside up eggs is just so YUMMY! THE CHICKEN CASSEROLE CALLED BY ANOTHER NAME ALSO JUST YUMMY! 😋 The staff are helpful and super friendly!!!
Great ambience, amazing apps, and excellent service! We ordered almost all the apps on the menu.... I would order and recommend any of them again. I finished with the Cheeseburger and it did not disappoint.
Food is good, nice place, not that busy for dinner, parking lot, strong but pricey drinks and good ambiance. The pre-fixed menu needs more options.
Cool place, loved the vibe. Food was overall delicious but consistently over salted. Rare steak was medium well and had to be returned. Still really enjoyed it but wanted to have a thorough and real review.
The food here was great. I had the brunch burger and it was the best burger I've had in a long time. The customer service was good and good music I truly had a good time.
Unique atmosphere and quick service. Got the breakfast flat bread and french toast cakes. Both were delicious! Had to sit at the bar, but the food and mimosas were worth it.
Venue was great with an open kitchen! Drinks are good so expect the craft quality with your mimosas or morning bev. For food I had the brunch burger. It had quality meat and fresh veggies, overall solid burger, but, it's not a breakfast burger. It didn't have the egggs, syrup or sauce, or brioche/french toast bread. It just happen to be a burger I had for breakfast
Bolsa was so amazing! I love the look of the place. The service was friendly and welcoming. Our server was so helpful with my mom, who had never been before. We ordered the margarita pizza and the burger. Such a good portion and so tasty! Definitely going back.
The farm-raised chicken was actually the best tasting chicken I’ve had in my life. The taste and texture were simply divine, and the vegetables and sauce with it complemented it perfectly. Also worth getting- the Devils on Horseback. They’re very unusual, but delicious nonetheless
One of the best places in Dallas for brunch! I usually get the BBQ pork belly and it is one of my favorite things to eat. The pork belly is the best I have ever had... no one can cook pork belly to perfection like Bolsa! It just melts in your mouth. Also the grits underneath the pork belly are good too and I don't even like grits.
Definitely worth the drive from downtown.
Wonderful! We sat at the bar. Great service and outstanding food. The bruschetta was great.
Terrific. No flaws here. Sit at the bar. Not sure if there is a hostess, kinda confusing walking in as a 1st timer. However, be aggressive and confident in knowing you will have a good time. Besides the perfect location just know, Chad the GM, is mighty behind the bar. Great portions so share your food. The Margherita flat bread was amazing. There's no ranch so don't order, if you like ranch. The parking a bit tight. Come from Davis Street or park across the street. It's fancy but chill enough to still be classy and laid-back and cool. Oh yeah, cocktail bar so if you need a shot, try the Tiny Victories Bar. Yaaaa dig.Update: Closed January 22, 2020
Still, after all these years, my favorite restaurant in bishop arts district. The ever evolving menu is constantly updated while remaining true to the original taste and quality. O, and did I mention they still know how to pour a strong one? 10 years old and still cool... Quite an accomplishment bolsa.
Great atmosphere and food every time! Service can be a little slow but the quality and taste of the food makes up for it. They have a decent wine selection and we've never been disappointed by anything on the menu!
Half price wine bottles on Tuesdays. Happy hour, until 7, had half price cocktails (for those priced $10 or less) and flat breads. Other foods competitively priced and quite good. Portions large. My companion and I were quite full after sharing the mussels and seasonal flat bread.
First time here... we had the BBQ Chicharrones the Orichiette Pasta and the Windy Farms chicken over sweet potato... the appetizer was excellent and still crackling when it hit the table... both entrees were excellent, I give the edge to the Chicken dish. Would absolutely eat here again!
Had the greatest lunch at Bolsa. If you are in the Dallas area then you should definitely check this place out. Amazing food amazing service pet friendly Verdita and Bolsa handshake cocktails. Pork Belly and Fried Olives appetizer. Goat tacos and ricotta cavatelli. Sooo good!!!! #realtorlife #petfriendly #bolsa #dallastx
Brunch was great. The side salad threw me off 😅 I expected potatoes. Guess you can't assume. Otherwise a great experience.
